Dr. Howard Petroff (Toronto Raptors Assistant Medical Director) joins me to talk about how a trip to the movies landed him a job on the Toronto Raptors medical team 17 years ago. We discuss some of the challenges they faced when preparing for the NBA Bubble in 2020 and how it helped the transition to moving their team operation to Tampa, Florida for the upcoming NBA season. Dr. Petroff shares some insight on the affects that lockdown procedures, self isolation and social distancing play on the general public as well as professional athletes. Dr. Petroff also talks about vaccines, the importance they've had on society and he addresses some of the misconceptions that people have of the COVID-19 vaccine.
